About me

I’m Tory Knappenberger, a Kansas City-based graphic designer with two decades of experience in every aspect of graphic design. I specialize in clear, simple, and sophisticated visual communications.

Throughout my career I’ve worked in every variety of design environment, from large agency to boutique design firm. I now bring that varied and extensive experience with me as freelancer, and I love how it affords me the flexibility to be nimble and ideate quickly.

Skills & Qualifications

I’ve built my career on all of the foundational elements of successful business communications: logo design, branding, website development, print collateral, tradeshows & conferences, product/brand videos, print & digital advertising, annual reports, and publication design.

 I have extensive experience in all phases of the design process, from concept development to final production. I gained this experience by working in every type of design environment: big agency, small agency, in-house teams, and specialty design firms. Everything I’ve learned about creative direction, design & brand implementation, project management, and vendor coordination has been shaped by collaborating and learning from many other very talented people.
